Step 1 — Welcome to the Application

Thank you for applying to SunPower.
We appreciate your interest in joining SunPower’s warehouse and operational teams. This application is the first step in our structured hiring process for warehouse, logistics, and operational support roles.

This application serves as an initial warehouse-level assessment designed to evaluate readiness for work in a professional, safety-focused, and performance-driven operational environment. It helps us identify candidates who are aligned with the expectations of large-scale warehouse operations.

At this stage, prior warehouse or logistics experience is not required. We are primarily evaluating reliability, attention to safety, ability to follow procedures, teamwork, and readiness to perform in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

The estimated time to complete this application is 20 to 35 minutes. For best results, please complete the assessment in one uninterrupted session. We recommend reviewing each section carefully and answering honestly based on how you would perform in a real work environment.

Completion of this assessment allows our warehouse operations and recruiting teams to determine next steps. Qualified candidates may be contacted for additional evaluations, interviews, or onboarding steps based on role availability and operational needs.

Warehouse Roles & Scheduling — Solar Panel Assembly

Before you submit, read this carefully. These are real warehouse roles. The work is hands-on, fast-paced, and safety-driven. We want you to understand what the job looks like day to day and how scheduling works.

Most warehouse roles require: standing for long periods, repetitive motions, lifting and moving materials (within safety guidelines), using scanners/barcodes, working around pallets and carts, and wearing required PPE (for example: safety shoes, gloves, eye protection) when needed.

Role 1: Solar Panel Assembler

You will assemble solar panel components on a production line or work station. Tasks may include fitting frames, installing connectors, basic wiring tasks as assigned, using approved hand tools, following build instructions, and keeping steady output while meeting quality and safety standards. You must be able to stay focused, work with consistency, and report defects or issues right away.

Hourly Pay Range: $18–$23 per hour

Role 2: Material Handler / Warehouse Associate

You will support warehouse flow by receiving, staging, and moving material to keep production running. Tasks may include scanning and labeling inventory, picking/put-away, supplying work areas, moving pallets with approved equipment (as assigned), helping load/unload shipments, and keeping aisles and work zones clean and safe. Accuracy matters (wrong item = delays).

Hourly Pay Range: $18–$22 per hour

Role 3: Quality Control / Inspection Associate

You will inspect finished or in-process panels to confirm they meet quality and safety requirements. Tasks may include visual inspections, basic measurements or checks as required, documenting results, flagging defects, and communicating with production to correct issues. This role requires attention to detail and consistent documentation.

Hourly Pay Range: $19–$23 per hour

Work Schedules & Shift Structure

Warehouse operations run on fixed shifts to support production. You may be assigned to one of three shifts. Shifts may be scheduled as 8-hour or 10-hour workdays depending on business needs. Start times and days worked depend on the role and department.

First Shift (Day Shift)

Day Shift supports daytime production and warehouse operations. This shift typically starts in the morning. Schedules may be 8 or 10 hours depending on the department.

Second Shift (Evening Shift)

Evening Shift supports afternoon/evening production and helps keep operations moving into the night. Start times are later than Day Shift. Schedules may be 8 or 10 hours depending on needs.

Third Shift (Overnight Shift)

Overnight Shift supports continuous production through the night. This shift runs late evening into early morning. Schedules may be 8 or 10 hours depending on production requirements.

Overtime and weekend scheduling may be required during peak production periods. All scheduling is based on operational demand.

*Important Scheduling Notice: Shift selection happens after you are approved through the hiring process. If approved, you will receive access to the employee portal where available shifts can be reviewed. Shift availability depends on business needs and what is open at the time of onboarding.

By selecting an option below, you confirm you understand the roles and the scheduling expectations described above.
